what kind of

films?

What can we do for you?

We are a full service commercial video production company. This means we don't just take your brief, make the film as instructed and hand it over to you - although we can work this way. Ideally, we prefer to be involved in all aspects of the process and to complement your in-house media team as much as you need. We can look after things from the very beginning - from establishing the brief and strategic aims of the project, through pre-production scripting and story-boarding, to filming and post-production. Once the films are complete, we'll guide the launch, promotion and metrics of success.

What do we specialise in?

Since we started in 2005, we've worked widely for a huge range of commercial clients, producing all sorts of films from explainers, recruitment and facility films to training and event videos. Increasingly, we concentrate on a number of key sectors - higher education - design & tech - property & design - where we have a particular track record and expertise. Whatever the sector, we also have some specialist areas of video types, outlined below.

Research films

Research

At the end of an academic research project the final written reports are typically long, dense and detailed. Even the executive summary can be a tough read for the non-specialist.

We are experts in taking such complex topics and condensing them into short, punchy films which take the essence of your research and present it in an engaging way. We're also well used to working with top academics and steering a clear line through difficult material.

Explainer films

Explainer

Taking a complex idea and simplifying it for the screen can be a challenging process. Our principal directors each have over 30 years in the factual TV / film business. Add to this the diverse track record and skills of our growing in-house team and we're perfectly placed to tackle the most difficult of explainer videos.

Facility films

Facility

Video is a great way to promote your facility or institution. We make loads of these kind of 'About Us' films, often as part of a new organisation launch strategy.

Films based around new buildings sit well with our specialist sector of property & design.

Event films

Events

We film lots of events, typically covering conferences, lectures, workshops and performances. We can stream proceedings live and / or edit the content into full sessions / highlights.

We often take still images at events too, using both dedicated photographers and hi-res 4K video grabs.

Training films

Training

Using video is a proven way to deliver training. We've made a huge number of such films on subjects such as assembling clean rooms, using motion capture rigs, assessing abandoned nuclear facilities and choosing the right type of contraception.

If you get caught speeding in the UK, it's our films which will teach you how to drive more safely!

Working with the team at Beeston Media is a joy! Their experience in TV and film production and passion to produce high quality work really shines through. I really appreciated their creative inputs at the initial stages of a brief which helped shape a series of films to promote the Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus project.

Beeston Media, were fantastic to work with from start to finish, Hamish and the team were professional and detail orientated whilst remaining friendly and relaxed, their innate ability to blend in at the events, whilst still achieving great footage and interviews, was very impressive. Their editing was excellent and the whole process was very smooth, they managed to encapsulate the best parts of each event, and we are thrilled with the results.
