Podcasts 01

Marketers are always telling us how shorter is better for online content and we would agree for many of the types of videos which make up a comprehensive video marketing strategy.

But, the big exception is the podcast, where as long as it’s interesting and engaging, it can be as detailed and in-depth as the subject matter can sustain.

20-30 mins per podcast seems a sweet spot for most of our projects, but we have produced some at least double that length.

In terms of format, some podcasts - such as the LOASCA project below - are basically audio documentaries where multiple people are interviewed on a topic and the narrative is formed in the edit. Links from a presenter are added at the end to link the testimonies.

Another format is to have an 'as live' interview with a presenter and expert guest or guests - such as the Hidden AI project below. With sufficient pre-production to establish key points and story flow, this can be a much quicker (and thus more cost-effective) way of producing a podcast. Editing in this case is typically confined to a basic tidy of fluffs / audio levels.

Projects: Hidden AI, LGBTQ+ Older Adult Social Care Assessment (LOASCA), Planet Possibility Optics, Physics and the next quantum revolution.

I'm glad to report that the videos have garnered close to 3 million views and it's testament to the high quality, well thought out video production at Beeston Media. I've recommended to many of our business affiliates and partners - there's simply no-one else who's better.

We needed the video outputs to be very different to what we have had before and Penny's impressive creative direction, coupled alongside Hazard0ne's bold designs, really made our videos stand out. A big thanks to the whole Beeston team for pulling off what seemed like an impossible project!
