Beeston Media is a video production company based in Bristol. We create powerful film content for companies, institutions and non-profits.
Why come to us?
We make films on a wide range of topics but there are certain sectors in which we have acquired specialist experience.
Whatever your content needs, we’ve got it covered. Our principal directors each have over 25 years in the factual TV / film business and use that wealth of experience to create a huge range of content from mini-documentaries, explainer films and training videos, to corporate promos and vlogs.
We shoot on our own cinema cameras, DSLRs, drones, 360 VR and smartphones. We're shrewd strategists as well, so are perfectly placed to offer wider advice on an overall video campaign, beyond just the central film production.
There are many production companies to choose from, each with their glossy showreels and inspirational blurb. We have all that of course, but believe it's our editorial expertise that makes us truly unique.
Unlike many less experienced film-makers, we will 'get' your message quickly, often from the briefest of briefs. With our extensive backgrounds in broadcast factual television and high-end educational films, we’re able to drill to the heart of a complex topic and present it in a way that instantly resonates with a lay audience.
“Hamish, Penny and the crew at Beeston Media produced an amazing series of digital films that brought our research findings to life and helped disseminate key messages to a wide audience beyond academia. Their rapport with members of the public put contributors at ease and helped bring out insightful messages from all contributors. Easy to work with, quick to respond and always prepared to bring a new and creative perspective on our work together – it was an open, honest and, most importantly, enjoyable collaboration, beginning to end.”
“Since 2016 we have partnered with Beeston Media on a range of high value property film projects, covering everything from teasers through to a short film with 24 cast and crew as well as dogs, drones, cars and a helicopter. None of our requests or ideas have phased the Beeston team and they are always ready and willing to push the boundaries of what's been done before to produce films that feel fresh and highly polished, ensuring we completely surpass the original client briefs.”
“Beeston Media were incredible to work with on a series of videos with Professor Alice Roberts. They understood the brief immediately and offered ideas and insight I had not considered, bringing their expertise to bear at every stage to improve the end result. They went above and beyond before the shoot and on the day, remaining resourceful and positive throughout (despite a few challenges!). The final videos are amazing, with the drone footage surely being a publishing first. They are definitely the best book videos I have ever seen and were integral to the marketing campaign. The team are also efficient, communicative and a pleasure to work with. I have already recommended them to all of my marketing colleagues!”
“The pace of change in the helicopter industry calls for constant updating of our marketing collateral. Beeston Media has worked with us closely for over ten years and in doing so has developed a detailed understanding of our business. They provide not only first class videos and stills but the flexibility to readily update them, so we can keep our brand fresh and relevant.”
“Dilan and I want to extend our thanks for everything that the Beeston Media team have done and the back and forths you have accommodated. We really appreciate your hard work. The video and graphics look better than we imagined was possible from the start and we are really excited to use them.”
“Beeston Media's training course gave us an invaluable overview of filming on our mobile phones and subsequently editing on Premiere Pro. It was an excellent introduction, giving us the confidence to learn and experiment in our own time afterwards. We're now able to produce short and effective films for the University's social media channels.”
