Schools outreach

Outreach digi 02

University of Bristol's Faculty of Engineering has a busy outreach team which runs events to promote STEM subjects, particularly to young people.

We've helped the messaging by producing films to record and promote their work.

Events covered include the Digimakers hands-on science event run by student volunteers at We the Curious (film above) and the Summer School at Barton Hill Wellspring Settlement.

We filmed these two events with our usual full crew of three people but we also offer a two person junior team when budgets are tighter and looser style is briefed. The pole-flying competition film below is an example of this. We can also edit your own shot material into a finished film as in the Lego grabber film also below.

Stills from video grabs

The 4K cameras we use have plenty of resolution to allow you to take video screen grabs for use as stills. It's quick and easy to do and gives clients a whole lot of extra imagery from the one shoot. These images are from the Summer School at Barton Hill Wellspring Settlement.

We’ve worked with Beeston Media on a range of films over the last few years. From student experiments to research projects and facility launches, their flexible approach and attention to detail is invaluable to us.
