Day at the museum BTS
4th June 2026
As promised, here’s the behind-the-scenes film of our recent day at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery. We were there to capture an innovative project led by Richard Cole, watching fifty participants test a live game that brought ancient gods to life through conversational AI tech, before they rolled up their sleeves to build their own gaming scenarios in an afternoon workshop.
For us at Beeston Media, having team member Jake Michael Christian on set to capture this behind-the-scenes film highlights exactly why we love specialising in science and tech storytelling. Working in partnership with universities on such highly innovative projects goes straight to the heart of our purpose. Our goal is always to help promote a healthy, connected tech and innovation ecosystem that attracts funding, and collaboration is the engine that drives it.
Choosing to create behind-the-scenes content isn't just about showing off the kit; it’s about opening a window into the collaborative culture that makes breakthroughs possible. It provides a shared asset that adds marketing value to all the partners involved, celebrating the university's research, the venue's openness to innovation, and the tech itself. When we lift the curtain on how these ideas come together, it’s a win-win approach that strengthens the whole ecosystem.
So enjoy the film. It reminds us that the best innovation is always human-led, and one of the best ways to get people excited about tech is a peek at the magic behind the curtain. Below is also the main film that came out of the event.
