Awards show opener

With pretty much everyone having a decent quality video camera on our phone now, collecting footage has never been easier, but the editing can be a bit more of a challenge.

We're increasingly asked to edit other people's self-shot material, to add graphics, titles, stills etc. Particularly during COVID, we edited a lot of Zoom interviews and conferences.

Our work for the University of Bristol's sports clubs community is a good example of this. They sent over a huge amount of footage of all types and quality with the simple brief of "making it into something cool" for their upcoming annual awards ceremony.

We used motion graphics to add dynamic text and the same Photoshop 'sketch' tool that the UoB Sports people have in their print publicity work to keep everything on brand.
